the

HORSE HUMAN CONNECTION TEAM

We honour the unique gifts and spirit of each horse and individual, recognizing that every being is whole and complete unto themselves. Our approach is rooted in safety, dignity, fun and respect, where we grow together as a team, horses and humans alike, always learning.

Through our programs and courses, we emphasize relationship-building, teamwork, mutual support; guiding participants as they learn and grow while developing new skills.

Four Legged

Itchy

Meet Star of Wonder, affectionately known as “Itchy”. This lovely old Haflinger has spent his life as a willing and enthusiastic friend and companion, walking with his girl for many years through riding events, exploring trails, sunny days and quiet moments. He brings joy and calm to those around him. Itchy earned his nickname due to a seasonal allergy, Sweet Itch, which has added a touch of whimsy to his gentle nature.

Twinkle

Meet Twinkle, a sweet and gentle soul with a lifetime of experience teaching kids the joys of riding. This little pony has worked hard, sharing her patience and kindness with countless young riders, and though she’s earned her rest, she delights in working with her human friends, spreading joy and calm one gentle nudge at a time. Now she loves quiet moments of connection hanging out, being petted and strolling along.

Liesle

Meet Liesle, a spirited young Haflinger embracing her own leadership path. Inquisitive and curious, she invites her human friends to join her on a journey of discovery, calling us to learn how to be fully present in her presence. Liesle is super fun and full of energy. As she navigates her own learning path, Liesle inspires growth and self discovery, offering opportunities for others to learn about themselves alongside her.

"When we show up as our authentic selves, we inspire others to do the same. Together we lift each other up and grow.”
