Erin McBryan

Erin McBryan is a passionate and energetic equine professional dedicated to supporting Yukon youth through horse-guided learning and connection. She holds a Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management in Equine Management from the University of Guelph and a Certificate in Western Ranch and Cow Horse from Lakeland College.In her current role as Agriculture Research Technician with the Yukon Government, Erin manages the territory’s research and demonstration farm. Erin is also a practising farrier, offering barefoot trims, and a Licensed Coach with Equestrian Canada, providing engaging and enjoyable riding lessons to youth and adults in a safe, supportive environment.

Erin brings extensive experience in horsemanship, horse care, leadership, and mentorship. Erin participated in the Spirit Riders 4-H Horse Club for seven years and has over nine years of horse camp experience at Heart Bar Ranch—first as a camper and later as a counsellor, teaching what she learned. She also has experience guiding horse packing trips, blending her love of adventure with her strong horsemanship skills.
A true Yukon girl, Erin loves spending time outdoors surrounded by the beauty of the natural environment. Whether she’s with her horses, out paddling on the water, hiking new trails or enjoying a good book, Erin feels most at home when connected to the land.
